Formerly the Senior Vice President at The Education Alliance, a nationally recognized higher education consulting firm, Christian came to NECF with many years of experience in higher education both in the not-for-profit and the for-profit arenas as a teacher, higher education curriculum and marketing specialist, course designer and faculty mentor. Prior to his position at the Alliance, he held positions at Fitchburg State College and at Harcourt Learning and Thomson Learning. During the 90's, Christian was an Associate Professor and Department Chair of Music at Providence College, where he achieved tenure and served on many committees including the Faculty Senate. Christian taught in the Music and Theology Departments as well as in the renowned Development of Western Civilization Program in the disciplines of Literature, History, Philosophy, Theology, Music History & Literature and Art History. He is also an Episcopal Priest in the Diocese of Massachusetts.
