Leslie Hitch joins the faculty at NECF as an experienced director and lecturer with extensive experience in higher education. She has particular areas of expertise in strategic planning and cost-effective and profitable multi-faceted education programs, both online and on ground. As Director of Academic Technology Services at Northeastern University, Leslie works to enhance the electronic delivery of education from use of technology in the classroom to distance learning. She is the primary liaison for information technology to the regular and research faculty. Prior to her appointment at Northeastern, she was the Vice President for Program Services at Harcourt Higher Education’s Online College, where she helped design and manage student systems accessible in the online environment and created a full range of online services for learners including tutoring, placement exams, and advisory and career placement systems. She has published in higher education journals and has made numerous professional presentations throughout the U.S.
