Admission Requirements
All new students, whether you are enrolling with the college to take single courses, or matriculating into the Associates in Science in Business Administration program or a certificate program, must complete the admissions process prior to registering for their first course. The admissions forms and $50 non-refundable application fee need to be submitted only once. Students who are out of attendance more than one year will need to re-apply and pay a $50 reactivation fee.
If you are a Seminar student, please visit our Request Information page and fill out the form. Under “Area of Interest,” you will select “Seminars.” In the comment box, please fill in which Seminar you would like to attend and your employer’s contact information if they will be paying for the Seminar.
Application Process
Completing the New England College of Finance online application is simple. The application will ask you for your contact information, immigration status, and academic history. You will be required to write a brief statement describing why you want to attend school at NECF. The entire application will only take about thirty minutes if you have this statement prepared in advance. However, you can always save and return to the application if you need to take a break.
Once you submit your application, NECF will require that you provide some documents that support your application for admission. These will be:
- Your official High School Transcript (this must be sent to NECF using postal mail)
- Your Student Financial Agreement indicating how you will pay for your schooling at NECF (this form is available for download once you submit your application)
- If you are a fulltime, on-ground student (which is two classes at once), you will need to provide proof of health insurance.
- If you are applying for transfer credit, your official College Transcript
- If you are an international applicant, your official TOEFL score.
For additional information or assistance, please contact the NECF Admissions Department at 617-951-2350 or 888-696-6323.
Students Reapplying to NECF
If you were previously an online student at NECF, you will have had a username and password for NECFOnline. Please use the same username and password when you apply again. This is crucially important. If you create a different username, you are risking losing your previous coursework.
